This story is going on along gentle slopes that extend to the lake, where mulberry and olive trees are searching daily for the sun… this is the story of a great love!
A young entrepreneur comes from Finland to the Lake of Garda with a dream: to have her own place from where to show to devoted clients the many beauties you can find on the lake… But then Jaana meets Francesco and that’s when things start happening. An antique Capuchin monastery, fled by the friars order during the Napoleonic invasion, with ruins beyond recognition, starts its transformation.
It took three years and a lot of passion and – we might add – continuous patience to build from ruins a dreamy hotel! It is now almost 20 years that Villa Arcadio works magically for Jaana who was able to transfer her feelings along with Francesco’s help to the son Aki, the same feelings of affection and tenderness for this Italian home so rich with her own memories.
Walking through the hotel premisis, the personal decorated bedrooms, the lounge and dining area, guests could vision objects and memorabilia that remind the Finnish origins of Jaana well reflected with an acquired Italian taste, synthesis of the proprietor’s two souls.
To get lost walking and hiking among hazels and nuts, to relax and wake up with a breathtaking view in front of you, to seat at the dining table with the primizie of the chef… maybe this is what finding love or falling in love with Villa Arcadio is all about!
